Therapy is a mutual process, and a journey that takes place between the therapist and the client. I usually recommend to meet three times before evaluating if the client and the therapist are able to work with one another. It is crucial for the client to develop feelings of safety and trust with their therapist. Trust opens up vulnerability and allows our negative defenses to come down so we are able to mend our individuality. The therapeutic area becomes a space where anything that is discussed stays with in the parameters of the room itself. * The goal of therapy is not to change you. Change is your choice, but I want to help you build the awareness and acceptance around yourself and others. This helps you to be aligned spiritually, religiously, emotionally and physically and allows you to heal, be fully free and you.
*Therapists are required by law to only disclose information to protect a client or a specific individual identified by the client from “serious and foreseeable harm.” That can include specific threats, disclosure of child abuse where a child is still in danger, or concerns about elder abuse.
